Juggling Props

Juggling

In this page, It breaks alot of things down about what you can do with juggling and the vast ranges of props, patterns, and more.

Juggling props have a vast range of items, from common items like quarters or fruit, to more traditional items like juggling balls and clubs, then there are more extreme things like juggling torches and juggling chainsaws.

Props arent the only aspect of juggling though, people use all these different props in many different types of juggling. There is many different forms like toss/bounce/foot juggling (multiple object manipulation), contact juggling (body manipulation), and manipulating props with other props (prop-based manipulation).

All of these together create a hobby or career that is extremely vast in nature. Where changing one aspect like the pattern opens up many more doors, or changing the media opens up you to learn more tricks and patterns.

Gymnastics

Sometimes you don’t even need a prop, headstands and acrobatics fall into a similar realm and you can combine it with juggling or do it by itself like in this photo of Jeff Peden. Along with this Jeff wants to create an artisticly balance photo.

From meditative to technical oriented jugglers work on improving mind and self.

Balancing

Another form of Juggling is balancing from people doing something like this where he is balancing a torch on his face, to something where they are doing it mid juggle like a stall.

Another variation to Juggling is it’s social aspect.

Niche and Fun things

Niche things like lassoing most people don’t even know its in the juggling realm. And although fire crowns and burning books and spinning firey steel wool arent directly connected to juggling they are still fun things to do at a fire party.

Conventions and Competitions

At most juggling conventions there are competitions. From headbalance competitions to combat juggling to quarter juggling.
